Hey! I’m Alec. I love it when my friends write. Short stories, blogs, even thoughtful Reddit posts: I find it inspiring. There’s so much packed into that little slice of a person. My all-time favorite and perhaps the reason I write: the beauty and the realness of the afterthought.

So here’s mine: a place for thoughts, stories, and opinions.

I’ll talk about travel and China (where I spent about seven months getting my master’s). I’ll talk about kind of nerdy things and really nerdy things. I’ll talk about God and faith and life as someone who believes in Jesus in 2018. Maybe I’ll even talk about my idealistic dreams for what this twisted political climate could be like.

I quite enjoy feedback and thoughts, assenting or dissenting.
